Clunk on the Head: How the Holy Spirit Grabbed My Attention

Posted by Sally Clark on Sunday, November 27, 2016
Clunk on the Head: How the Holy Spirit Grabbed My Attention

Christian writers are invited to contribute to a planned anthology titled, Clunk on the Head: How the Holy Spirit Grabbed My Attention. Gina Napoli, a seasoned freelance writer, is compiling first-person stories of the moment when the Holy Spirit thumped you on the head that changed your life thereafter.

She is looking for original, unpublished stories, between 1500 and 3000 words, that visibly reveal the change in the protagonist after that “clunk” moment.

Writers must cite Bible passages and attest to the Scriptural clarity of the Holy Spirit’s unambiguous presence. For Discussion Questions, incorporate three inquisitive, enlightening questions that readers would ask themselves after reading your testament. For Exercises, provide a call to action. What do you want your readers to DO after reading your story?

Payment - $100 per story

Deadline – December 1, 2016. Visit Gina’s website http://www.ginanapoli.com and click on Call for Submissions for complete guidelines.
