Focus on the Family: Brio Fiction: How Did I Get Into This Mess?
Topic: Focus on the Family Brio magazine is accepting contemporary short fiction. Although you are always welcome to send your complete short, modern-day, fiction stories of 800 to 1,000 words on any topic, we are especially interested in stories that show how a teen girl finds herself in a mess of her own making and figures out how to get out of it or how to start in the right direction to eventually leave it behind. These problems can be about money, clothing, hanging out with the wrong friends, misbehaving, family issues, or just a comical look at everyday errors and how to move on from them. (Only short fiction is accepted through the email address below.)
