Topic: Focus on the Family Brio magazine is accepting contemporary short fiction. Although you are always welcome to send your complete short, modern-day, fiction stories of 1,200 words on any topic, we are especially interested in stories that show how a teen girl doesn't feel the same about Thanksgiving or Christmas, perhaps how she found a way to balance the holiday she knew as a child and the one she is experiencing as a teen. (Only short fiction is accepted through the email address below.)

Rights: First nonexclusive rights
