Louisville Literary Arts has sponsored the Writer’s Block Prize since 2013 in conjunction with the annual Writer’s Block Festival in LouisvilleKentucky. Each year we rotate genres. We are pleased to announce that the 2018 Writer’s Block Prize will be awarded in POETRY. Award-winning poet Maggie Smith will judge.
 
DEADLINE: August 1, 2018      Entry fee: $12
One first place winner will receive $500, an opportunity to read at the 2018 Writer’s Block Festival in LouisvilleKY on November 10, and publication in The Louisville Review, the literary magazine of Spalding University’s nationally distinguished low residency MFA in Writing program.
