Texas Writes in AustinTX

11/9/2019 to 11/10/2019

$139 for members (sign in for member pricing) and $199 for nonmembers
Commit one special weekend to your writing with ten brilliant craft presentations and conversations with some of the most exciting writers in Texas.

For years, we have been sending award-winning and bestselling authors into small community libraries across the state to talk about the craft behind their fiction, memoir, and poetry. Now, for the first time, we're gathering ten of those presentations in one place: Austin Community College's beautiful Riverside Campus in AustinTX.

On Saturday, you'll enjoy six presentations, with moderated conversations interspersed throughout the day, and lunch provided. The day starts at 9:00 a.m. and wraps up at 6:00 p.m. We'll also have snacks and coffee on hand to keep you going (not that we think you'll need it!). Plus, BookPeople will be on site to sell the presenters' books, plus some of the presenters' go-to craft guides and sources of writing inspiration.

On Sunday, we're back starting at noon for four more presentations and a moderated conversation with the authors, finishing by 6:00 p.m. Plus the snacks and the coffee and BookPeople.
