Theme:
Training teens to handle conflict with authority figures without you doing it
for them (or knowing when they should turn to you and ask for help so you do
step in). For example, if there is a problem or conflict between your teen and
a teacher, coach, pastor or boss, how should you guide your teen to handle the
problem? This can address helping them define the root of the problem, figuring
out the best time to address it, setting up a meeting, dressing appropriately,
bringing notes and discussing the problem with the authority figure without
letting emotions get in the way. This article should include real-life stories
and practical help.
