Up With Paper Pop-up Books

Posted by Sally Clark on Monday, July 5, 2010 Under: Children's

We are currently seeking submissions for two separate stories to translate into two new seasonal pop‐up books: Halloween and Christmas. The target market is a child under 12, with the primary purchaser being the grandmother, and secondarily the mother. We are looking for stories that are entertaining and fun. They do not have to rhyme, but they do need to hold together for multiple out loud readings, which are enjoyable for both the adult reader and child. Characters should be non‐human. Animals of all sorts are great, aside from dogs, for we have numerous titles featuring them at this time. Please refer to the specific guidelines for each seasonal book.

Each book will be 7‐ 8 spreads. Compensation for selected stories will be $700‐$1000 per book. Entries are due July 15th. Please email submissions or any questions you may have to creativedirector@upwithpaper.com All of our titles are available on Amazon.
